Entry

No matter how small or how narrow you can still have a entryway to your home. My front door spills right into my front room but I defined it with shelves and hooks for all those things you need on your way out. What do you do as you leave? That will help you decide how to plan it!

The space I'm currently working on has a tiny tiny narrow entry so adding furishings just doesn't make sense but yes - i'm totally utilizing hooks and mirrors give the illusion of space.

all of them are simply beautiful.
I have a very small entry...
so i "create" a wallrobe of two different size, one is closed with a courtain, the other with a door covered by mirror.
about the decoration i hanged a very big modern wood framed mirror in front of the entry door, and some old little framed prints.
ah...wall and cieling are red (also the wallrobe...white with red, grey and black rectangles) with white tiled floor.

Oh, I would KILL for an entry way, at least an official one. I've got my makeshift station, it works.

I love those entries, also! Not many homes in Arizona have formal foyers. However, I have tried to create a feeling of an entry by putting a buffet console along the wall near my front door, flanked by two chairs (overflow kitchen table chairs). Right now I have a big wicker basket on one of the chairs that holds my purse, keys, library books...stuff I need to grab on my way out the door. The armoire in my LR serves as a coat closet near the front door. We don't wear many heavy coats here in Arizona.

I really *don't have room for an entry, but I like to look at them. Tiny cottage.

I don't know if this is bad blog ettiquette or what, but if you get a chance would you come look at my kitchen photos on my blog? I read yours every day and love it.

I like the entry. It's so simple, yet inviting. The windows remind me of our house in Missouri. Its vinyl siding (St. Louis) were perfectly installed. We wanted our windows (St. Louis, MO) to allow the sunlight to enter inside the house as it saves electricity. Anyway, thanks for sharing these designs, Lisa.
